A journey to the Centre of the Earth (Riview Film)

A journey to the centre of the earth is a film from a novel by Jules Verne at 1864, and publish in English at 1871. The director of the film is Eric Brevig. The film has duration about 92 minute and relesead at 11 July 2008.

          The film tells scientist, his nephew, and mountain guide adventure to the other wolrd on the earth. Initially, Trevor Anderson (Brendan Fraser) can opportunity for find out why Max Anderson, his brother disappeared when he doing research to the centre of the earth. His nephew, Sean (John Hutcherson) was coming when Trevor will go. So, Trevor invite him to volcano in Islandia. In the journey, they meet a beautiful mountain guide, Hannah (Anita Breim) and lease her. In the volcano, they shelter in a cave for avoid thunder, and trapped in the cave then fall to the centre of the earth. In there, they find diamond, and something which didn’t find in their life, like an electric bird, piranha which can fly, dinosaurs, and many kinds of plant which should have vanished. They continue their journey to going home because the volcano will burst. Finally, they can come back again to the ground in the mountain of south Italy.

          The film has good story, imaginative, and make viewers to get involved on their adventure, but picture editing is bad. The picture is failed by King Kong movie which released in 2005. At that, the technology isn’t sophisticated a journey to the centre of the earth movie. But,  of course the film is better than Indonesian movie.

          The  film is good in terms of story, graphically, or acting. So, all ages can watch the film. Besides as entertainment, the film also as education, because it is about science.
